The Lazy Caterpillar Club is snail mail is my antidote to the increasingly more online world.

I think the hardest bit about trying to be offline and reclaim your attention, is figuring out what to do with the time where you genuinely have nothing to do. Rather than picking up ur phone and ramming ur Retinas with slop.

Whats worked for me is creating stuff and thinking more.

So everything in this will help you do the same <33

The main thing I want this to be is an offline care package with ideas and activities inside, which can both mentally stimulate you and help fill ur new free time with creative things to do.

Hopefully bringing not just physical art to ur life, but also help you connect with yourself and the immediate world around you.

A Letter From Me

A train of thought. Mostly about human creativity, how to distance ourselves from the digital world in a healthy way, and pretty ways humans can be.

A Bookmark — NEW

Art on the front, and a surprise on the back! (either) Things to do instead of doomscrolling/a sketchbook prompt/recipes/etc.... It lives in whatever you are reading, so it is there at the exact moment you would have reached for your phone, but chose peace instead. Collect one a month. Put on fridge, gift to friends, keep in books.

A Sticker

Either one large sticker or a mini sticker sheet. A little something extra to help you make your belongings personal again.

A print of a flash, or painting I've worked on. Collect them, gift them, or use them as flash reference for your own art projects.

If you have had one of these before: the badges have been retired. They added thickness to the envelope, which pushed the postage up, and I would rather keep the price where it is than keep the badge.

The bookmark is what I have put that time into instead.

one of the highlights of my life!!

Bloody stupendous

Received my first edition a few days ago. Not only was it super exciting to get something in the post that you actually want, but having the envelope decorated then full of wounderful, inspiring and insightful bits was splendid. If you're a creative or not you can absolutely enjoy this, Aaron is always pushing the notion of imperfect art and having freedom with it. Aswell as expanding your mind beyond your own life's four walls. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to better themselves, but also have some guidance and basically adult homework to encourage it. Big love x
